- 2/3 -- 2/5 read Chapter 3 of notes (proof of Theorem 8 for math-oriented folks) , do problems §3.8, #1-4, 8, 9, 14, 18, 20, 23; Read Chapters 1 and 2 (p.11-16 only) of Felsenstein
