    Besides this course, in the Dept. of Mathematical Sciences there is a course in optimization (CS/Math 661).  There will be a course in numerical linear algebra if there is demand.
    There are the following primarily numerical courses in applied fields: PHYS 629 Numerical Simulation in Fluids and Plasma; MSL 629 Numerical Simulation in Geophysical Fluid Dynamics; ME 601 Finite Element Analysis in Engineering.

The Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics (SIAM) is the organization with the most resources for numerical analysis and related topics.
