I have played outdoor soccer since I was 10. Recently I have enjoyed playing in the Women's League during the summer. I have always played forward. In the past three years I have also added mid-field to my positions. This year I may try out some defense but I have a feeling I will prefer the offensive positions.
I have recently started playing indoor soccer. As I love to run this is an incredibly new experience for me. Indoor soccer is very different than outdoor. This will take some getting use to.
My son (now 11) is not very athletic but I was able to get him involved in swimming and soccer. Originally the only way he would attempt the sport was if I agreed to coach. So now not only do I coach indoor youth soccer, my son also enjoys playing it (and I don't always have to coach his team :) ) I still haven't been able to talk him into playing outdoor in the summer.
